The launch of our weekly Pizza & Parsha class generously hosted by Jessica and Eman *** was a huge success! Rabbi Yisraeli introduced Parsha Miketz and connected to the holiday of Hannukah;
he explained that we are not just celebrating the miracle of the candles lasting 8 nights but rather the defeat of the Greek culture. He explained that the essence of Hannukah is that we don't give in to the culture around us but rather stay true to our roots. If we are careful that the light of Torah shines even in our culture then we are guaranteed to have good kids Amen!
